Performance Analysis of Hybrid Filtering Technique for Reduction OF PAPR in Alamouti Coded MIMO-OFDM Systems

Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technique combined with Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is the proficient air interface for upcoming generations of high data rate and high-speed wireless communication. Nonetheless, such a system suffers from drawback peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) when symbol phases in OFDM subcarriers line up fashion that constructive formation large signal peak time domain occurs. Classical amplitude clipping, one simplest techniques, employed to reduce PAPR. However, in-band distortion caused by clipping affects high-frequency components because clipped directly into discrete-time at Nyquist sampling rate. This causes aliasing phenomenon through which frequency component signal's spectrum actually inherits low identity sampled version spectrum. In this paper, we propose an additional filtering scheme has been assigned our algorithm remove within feasible regions (i.e. constellation areas modulated symbols), can efficiently PAPR signals. The performance hybrid evaluated compared other algorithms as Partial Transmit Sequence (PTS), Selective mapping, active extension reduction computer simulation Alamouti Coded MIMO-OFDM systems. carried out using Matlab R2018a. Also, proposed some recent techniques. found offer better It shown 1.8, 9.818 dB, equivalent percentage difference 97.97% respect original achieved, employing QPSK modulation 12.42% more only. work find applications Massive MIMO systems beyond 5G networks.
